2025 Annual Report online
“In times of geopolitical conflict, it is children in particular who suffer the consequences. This makes it all the more important that there are organisations such as the ‘Association for the Future of Children in Slums’,
which are deeply committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of our society.” With these words, Otto Fricke, President of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), begins his foreword to our association’s annual report, which has just been published online.
The annual report, which will soon also be available in print, details the activities of our partners who are committed to ‘sport for social development and peace’ for children in the poor neighbourhoods of countries in the Global South. It also highlights how our partners are guided, both individually and collectively, by our organisation’s motto: ‘Education and health are the most important prerequisites for overcoming poverty’. And, of course, the 2025 annual accounts are also published there, providing details of how the funds received from private donors and other funding bodies over the past year have been used.
